Furniture surfaces must not only look good but also withstand daily contact and cleaning.

Resistance to Surface Scratching: Even Texture Ridges Remain “Unharmed”
National standard requirement: ≥1.5 N load, the surface without more than 90% continuous scratch.
YAKCO tested value: 1.5 N, the surface without more than 90% continuous scratch – Pass.
This means that even when hard objects such as fingernails or keys scratch across the ridge lines of the 3D embossed wood texture, no obvious continuous scratches will remain.
In daily use, the embossed details on tabletops and cabinet doors stay intact for a long time.
Resistance to Surface Wearing: Deep Texture Withstands Repeated Wiping
National standard requirement: No show-through after 350 rotations; wear value ≤80 mg/100r.
YAKCO tested result: No show-through after 350 rotations; wear value only 57 mg/100r – better than the standard limit.
For 3D embossed wood texture boards, wear resistance concerns not only the flat areas but also the decorative layer thickness on the top of the texture.
YAKCO’s low wear value means that even after years of cleaning and wiping, the color of the embossed texture will not “fade” or be “worn flat”.
Resistance to Surface Staining: Gaps and Grooves Do Not Trap Dirt
National standard requirement: ≥ Grade 4.
YAKCO tested value: Grade 4 – Pass.
Common contaminants such as coffee, soy sauce, and red wine, when spilled onto the 3D embossed surface, can be wiped clean with a damp cloth without penetrating into the textured grooves.
This is thanks to the dense melamine resin overlay, which makes deep-textured boards equally easy to clean.
1. Resistance to Dry Heat and Resistance to Cigarette Burns: Hot Objects Can Be Placed Directly with No Worry
2. Resistance to dry heat: YAKCO tested Grade 5 (highest grade): A hot coffee cup or soup bowl bottom placed directly on the embossed surface will not leave a white heat mark.
3. Resistance to cigarette burns: YAKCO tested Grade 4. Accidental cigarette contact will not cause permanent scorch marks.
